Who we are
Leaders Who Understand the System—Because We’ve Led It
Dynamic Education Consulting & Solutions (DECS) is a team of former school, district, and state leaders with deep special education expertise and hands on experience across general education, MTSS, leadership, funding, and implementation, because inclusive systems only work when teams work together. We bring practical judgment and lived experience to help leaders build strong systems where people and students can thrive.
At DECS, we build systems that are:
- Legally sound
- Instructionally effective
- Financially strategic
- Designed to hold over time
Our Mission
Building Systems That Serve Every Learner
We believe that effective education starts with a well-designed human-centered system with equitable, sustainable, and adaptable structures that support students, educators, and families. We do this by:
Strengthening systems that support daily practice—not just compliance
Advancing equity so every learner has access to high-quality opportunities
Practical, usable tools Provided to leaders for immediate application
Building capacity so improvement lasts beyond a single school year, or a leader
Our Standard of Work
What Makes DECS Different
1 We’ve led from the inside.
Our consultants are former special education directors, general education leaders, cabinet members, and state advisors. We understand how decisions are made, where pressure points emerge, and how to move systems forward without creating additional strain.
2 We design for sustainability.
Short bursts of improvement do not help a district. We build structures that hold up under daily demands, leadership shifts, and staffing changes. The goal is a system that can run well long after we finish your program.
3 We make knowledge transferable.
Strong systems depend on people who understand them. We focus on building local capacity so teams can solve problems, adapt, and lead the work with confidence. Districts stay in control because the knowledge stays in-house.
4 We connect compliance with purpose.
Compliance should support students, not distract from them. We help leaders translate mandates into meaningful practices that strengthen instruction, clarify roles, and bring coherence across the district. When purpose guides the work, compliance becomes a tool rather than a burden.
